Return Policy
This Return Policy explains how Think Tank T2 (Pty) Ltd handles returns, cancellations, exchanges, and refund requests for products, training, digital services, professional services, and related purchases made through our website or directly with us.
1. General Return Requirements
To request a return, exchange, cancellation, or refund, please contact us within a reasonable time and provide your name, contact details, order or invoice number, proof of payment, the item or service purchased, and the reason for the request.
We may request additional information to verify the purchase, inspect the product, confirm service delivery status, or assess whether the request qualifies for a return, exchange, credit, or refund.
2. Physical Products
Physical products must be returned unused, in their original condition, with all accessories, manuals, packaging, serial numbers, and proof of purchase included, unless the item is defective, damaged, unsafe, or incorrectly supplied.
We may refuse a return where a product has been used, damaged, altered, installed, tampered with, or returned without the required accessories or packaging, except where the law requires otherwise.
3. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products
If a product is defective, damaged on delivery, unsafe, or materially different from what was ordered, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can assess the issue and arrange a repair, replacement, exchange, credit, or refund where appropriate.
Products may need to be inspected or tested before a final decision is made. Where the defect is caused by misuse, negligence, unauthorised repair, physical damage, power surges, incorrect installation, or normal wear and tear, the item may not qualify for a refund or replacement.
4. Training, Courses, and Events
Training, course, workshop, and event bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled only in accordance with the specific booking terms, quotation, invoice, registration form, or written agreement applicable to that purchase.
Where a learner cannot attend, Think Tank may, at its discretion, allow substitution, rescheduling, credit, or partial refund depending on the notice period, supplier requirements, venue costs, certification-body rules, and work already performed.
No refund may be available where training materials, platform access, exam vouchers, certification vouchers, licences, or third-party resources have already been issued or activated, unless otherwise required by law.
5. Digital Products, Licences, and Online Access
Digital products, software licences, online access, downloadable materials, vouchers, and activation keys are generally not returnable once issued, accessed, downloaded, activated, redeemed, or delivered electronically.
If a digital product or licence is defective or cannot be accessed due to an issue caused by Think Tank or its supplier, we will assist with troubleshooting and may provide a replacement, reissue, credit, or refund where appropriate.
6. Professional Services
Consulting, development, support, managed services, recruitment, implementation, and other professional services are usually billed for work performed, time allocated, milestones completed, or third-party costs incurred.
Refunds for services will be assessed against the relevant quotation, statement of work, service agreement, written instruction, or invoice. Fees for completed work, committed resources, custom work, or third-party costs may not be refundable.
7. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally not returnable unless defective or otherwise required by law: custom orders, special-order items, opened software, activated licences, issued vouchers, downloaded materials, personalised services, completed services, used consumables, and items damaged after delivery.
8. Refund Method and Timing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where practical, or another reasonable method agreed with the customer. Refund timing may depend on banking processes, payment providers, verification, supplier approval, and internal processing requirements.
Any delivery, courier, administration, cancellation, supplier, platform, or third-party fees may be deducted from the refund where permitted and where those costs have already been incurred.
9. Exchanges and Credits
Where a refund is not appropriate, Think Tank may offer an exchange, replacement, rescheduled booking, account credit, or service credit. Credits may be subject to expiry dates, supplier terms, and availability.
